In some people, help and support of Vista do not work and instead displays an error message like how aid is unavailable.

To fix this do the following steps:

  1. Go to the registry: Start => Run (click if it does not appear in the list)
  2. Type regedit and then click OK to
  3. Double click on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
  4. Browse through the directories until you find the one called. Xml
  5. Double click on this one
  6. Double click on PerceivedType
  7. Change the value text / xml
  8. Click OK
  9. Close the window and test if it works by pressing the F1 key for example!

It did not work exactly like that for me - although the principle is exactly the same -> I found this on the Microsoft support site ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937491/fr ) :

    Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \. Xml
    Registry value: xmlfile
    Content-type: text / xml

The problem was actually due, in my case, the granting of the right to Dreamweaver opening xml files ... ..
