Microsoft has announced support ends of the protocol used by email clients as Outlook, Outlook Express or Entourage (Mac client), they used the DAV protocol, which began to be old enough and Microsoft had last year conducted a survey whether or not it continued support until the arrival of alternative technologies for some time as Microsoft supports the POP3 protocol for its Hotmail e-mail, to replace the DAV is present.

To ensure continuity of service, Microsoft recommends switching to:

• Windows Live Mail for Outlook Express users
• Outlook Connector for users of the standard version of Outlook
• Go through the POP3 protocol for users of Entourage

All these new options are free except the initial move of software in case of Outlook and Entourage.
