Since this afternoon, Microsoft allows anyone with a Hotmail account to synchronize its mobile devices (Windows Mobile 6, Windows 7 Phone, iPhone, iPad, ...) this list is not exhaustive and may restrict extend to all devices compatible with Exchange servers.

This will enable service once to synchronize mail, contacts, calendars and tasks between Windows Live services concerned and mobile phone for example.

To connect to the Exchange server here are the parameter to return:

  • Email address: Your email address
  • Password: your password
  • Domain: do not put anything
  • Server Address: m.Hotmail.com

Then check the services to synchronize.

Of course to use Exchange ActiveSync for Hotmail you must first have a Windows Live account.

A new browser has just been created it is called Iris and can navigate with the engine used on the iPod Touch, iPhone and some Nokia mobile.

It displays pages much faster than Opera Mini and Internet Explorer Mobile.

This new browser is free since it is Open Source.

Beware, the software is not final, it still has some problems stabilitée. Hope that these will be resolved in the final version.
