Microsoft Office 2010 has officially move in RTM (Release To Manufacture), this means that the development phase is completed and is ready to be sold and distributed.
The beta has been downloaded nearly 7 million times longer than twice the beta version of Office 2007.
It will be put on sale from 27 April to Software Assurance customers, that date version will be in English and in May for the French version.
On May 12, a launch event will be offered for companies with customer testimonials and demos that will be available on the Internet.
MSDN and Technet subscribers can download them on the RTM version from April 22.
THE launch for the general public will be in June, according to some sites such as Neowin , the launch date would be that of June 15, 2010.
Microsoft Office 2010 will be available in five versions:
- Starter Board to be reserved for new computers, free and advertising supported by this version cons include limited versions of Word and Excel functionality, but not limited to time, as was the case until maintenant.Cette version will also include advertisements
- Office Student and Family, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note. It will be priced at € 139. License 3 posts
- Small Office Home and software that contains all of the students as well as Outlook version it will cost € 379. License 2 posts
- Office Professional will be the most complete version plus Access and Publisher. Its price will be € 699. License 2 posts
All versions except the Starter are already available for preorder on the Microsoft Store, but also offers an upgrade to buy a version of Office 2007, you will get the equivalent in 2010 version for free at its output (excluding Shipping costs)
Microsoft teamed up with partners like HP to launch offering discounts ranging up to 18% on some of these PCs, Vodéclic with free videos training on Office 2010 and the editions that offer Editialis ENI and also of discounts on books and magazines respectively.

Program upgrade to Office 2010 for people who bought Office 2007 between March 5 and September 30, 2010, applications must be made before October 31.
