Archive for the "Open Source"

If you're a developer, it is sometimes useful to test the application with a database fairly consistent then that instead of filling it by hand is useful when software can do it alone! This is the case for site GenerateData.com

When creating the table, you can choose the export format (SQL, CSV, XML, Excel ...) as well as data that can be contained in the various columns on each row of the table.

The only drawback I've found but can be customized is that the full names and addresses are in English so for an application in French, this is not necessarily the ideal with accents of Latin characters.

It is possible to generate up to 200 lines per page, or up to 5000 lines if you download the code open source application that allows locally if the record already generate forms unlike the free version online.

The script is in PHP and uses MySQL database for data pre-established.

Jquery is currently a reference in the JS framework to effect "ajax €? .

It is used for example in the CMS like Wordpress.

Nokia will also integrate it in future version of Webkit for its phones.

No need to tell you what the Chrome buzz saw to it that creates these days after its release.

Chronium is the open source version of Chrome, its code is of course open to all since it is opensource, it is hosting on Google Code site.

The current version of Chrome is based on the build 1798 version for release now being updated and released the first version, the latest version available is 1819.

I advice you to use these rather than build version "public" because they have flaws and corrected another bug less.

Watch the changelog this on the ftp to see if you really need to do this update or if you expect next.

Remember that Chrome and Chronium are currently in Beta.

It displays pages much faster than Opera Mini and Internet Explorer Mobile.

This new browser is free since it is Open Source.

Beware, the software is not final, it still has some problems stabilitée. Hope that those will be resolved in the final version.

Java is a very good language but is not easily accessible to all the world especially with the object approach.

Yakov Fain, and Maxime Vincent Lataye Daniel has created a book on this subject and are doing so it is accessible to everybody equally to children that parents or the elderly and from today ' Today it offers a free digital on the development site!

I quickly looked at the first page and the approach is difficult to popularize concepts to enable more small to understand with design example.

I really advice this book if you want to introduce you to a language such as Java that is designed, inter alia to all computer platforms (Linux, Windows, Mac, ...) thanks to the JRE Java Runtime Environnment or the Java virtual machine depending on how you call it!

In learn Java is a good way to then make the C # example, the techniques of object oriented programming is very similar.
