As announced some time ago, Microsoft had planned to release a public beta of Office 2010 before the end of the year is almost done for this morning a download site for Office 2010 is online various languages including French.

The download page for the site in French refers to the time a 404 while the English version it says that the download is coming soon.

Pending the arrival of the download, it is already possible to know the different versions available for download:

• Office Home and Small Business 2010 Beta with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook and Office Web Apps
• Office Professional 2010 applications with beta version of Family and Small Business with Publisher, Access
• Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta with all applications in the most Professional Communicator, InfoPath and SharePoint WorkSpaces

The Professional Plus version is only for volume licensing.

Be careful though because the site would include Word than in the Family and Small Business, while the English version that is included in many other versions.
