I wish you a happy new year 2010 and I also want to thank you for this year 2009 that ends as you were about 70 000 visitors (68 936 exactly) or about 61% more than in 2008.

Microsoft's news there will be the launch of Office 2010 in March, Wave 4 of the Windows Live services including the arrival of Office ribbons in almost every application pack.

Developer year 2010 will mark the launch of Silverlight, 4 the Azure platform.

To end this note I wish once again to spend a great year 2010 and I'll see you soon for new items ;)

As you may have noticed, the site was not available today.

This is due to an attack on my OVH hosts some 3 million connections per second were received by the routers at the height of the attack and about 5000 / 6000 IPs were different in the attack.

The attack began around midnight and ended, or rather finally being corrected to 16 hours on Friday afternoon.

Sorry for the inconvenience if you want more technical details, go here!

The LifeCam Show Microsoft Hardware that I received by Test Agency Heaven is convenient because it is designed for both desktop or laptop computer.

It can take videos with a resolution of 2 million and photos up to 8 Mega Pixels.

The software supplied with the camera is very well designed because it has many effects to accompany a video conversation or grow such a mouth, nose or make the image a spiral.

This webcam is for Windows Live Messenger but it works equally well with other instant messaging applications like Skype or software with videos.

It is unfortunately not compatible for Mac and Linux computers.

Another drawback is the USB cable attached to the webcam is a little short in length for a fixed computer and a USB extension cable is required if the unit is located under a desk for example.

For laptops, it is perfect! With its small case for transport, no need to make sure you do not put your fingers on the lens or to watch out for scratches. The case is intended to webcam only wire it remains outside.

On the clips, it yal'embarras choice! One clip is specially created for the screens of laptops, just put it on top of your computer and voila.

For desktops, you can choose between a slip up which you set the camera come with the magnets provided with.

The software and drivers from the LifeCam Show is rather heavy no less than 280 MB in my case.

Here in finding the strengths and weaknesses:

Strengths

  • Photoelectric and videos of 2 Mega Pixels
  • Bottom transport
  • Multiple mounting brackets
  • Effects with the LifeCam

Cons

  • Relatively short length of USB cable
  • Only compatible with computers running Windows Vista and XP
  • Software drivers and heavy enough

Finally, the price is 80 € seen features, this price is reasonable. It is sold online and in stores

I will try to answer this string sent by Valentin ...

If I was not with blogger or internet:

  • I would probably not have as much knowledge in computer
  • I would have more time to be bored
  • I could not make the computer my future profession
  • And I would simply less well informed without access to all resources that the Internet offers us to develop, discover or keep abreast of news

I refile this channel to Ravana, Boris, Jean-Loup
